After App Camp you would give me homework like draft these two essays and I would actually have fun with the process. -Grant, student Hi Jodi! I wanted to write as I approach graduation because you were such an influential person in my college journey. As a high schooler I was so unsure that I would be able to succeed at this school, however I am now about graduate summa cum laude with honors and distinction in biology. I got to play four years of softball, conduct independent research, and meet amazing people during my time at this school, and I have loved every second. I have a wonderfully supportive family, but you were really the first person in my life to push me to challenge myself, to convince me that I'm smart enough to do hard things, and to encourage me to dream big. You were the first person to ever tell me that I could be a doctor if I wanted to. And I decided I did want to be! Thanks in large part to your motivation and support, I will be attending Keck Medical School at USC this August to become a pediatric oncologist (hopefully). Susan, parent As we thought back on the process there were so many ways that you guided Sammy, and we are very appreciative, Jodi. You advised he take the ACT and take it early. You suggested App Camp and tutoring. All this allowed him to get his best score early and not stress. You kept asking him about his interests and focused his applications. From creating a personal website to essays, you guided him to present his best self. We feel very lucky to have had your guidance.
- Jenny and Jeff, parents I am the father of twin girls who just had Debra as their college coach. I also have an older daughter who was not fortunate enough to have this amazing service simply because I did not know about it. In the last year, I saw my daughters transformed as they were gently and mindfully led by Debra through the college application process.
