Finish Some College Applications
 before Senior Year Begins!

The Common Application for undergraduate admissions is accepted by over 1000 private and public colleges and universities. The elements created for the Common App are also useful for scholarship applications. Some state schools use their own application rather than the Common App, and camp supports completing those applications as well. Spend a week with counselors from the College Admission Coach team and start your senior year with a jumpstart on your college applications. We make it fun, and you learn strategies for staying organized throughout the college admissions process.

During this 30-hour College Application Camp you will:
  • Complete the Common Application or some state school applications (without supplements)
  • Finish two essays
    • personal statement
    • one "Why this college?" supplemental essay
  • Complete an academic and activity resume
  • Compose recommender requests
  • Prepare and practice interviewing
  • Have fun, while getting important tasks done!
 
Important Details:
  • Limited spots available
  • Sessions are  9:00 am - 4:00 pm with an hour lunch break
  • Some pre-work required (approx. three hours)
  • What we won't do: standardized test preparation, interest/career testing, exploration of college majors, appropriate college list creation, supplemental applications and essays, scholarship searches, college visit planning​

Option A: All virtual, five Saturday/Sundays, 7/29, 7/30, 8/6, 8/12, 8/13
Option B: All virtual, M-F 7/31-8/4
Option C: All in-person, Westside Portland venue, M-F, 8/7-8/11
Option D: All in-person, Eastside Portland venue, M-F, 8/14-8/18
Option E: All in-person, Westside Portland venue, M-F, 8/14-8/18
Option F: All in-person, Westside Portland venue, M-F, 8/21-8/25
