College Search

Working with a college counselor is a wonderful way to learn about colleges that would be a great match.  There are also many options for online college searches and building your college list. Here are some of my favorites:
  • National Survey of Student Engagement: This is way more valuable than standard college ranking lists. The annual survey provides an estimate of how undergraduates spend their time and what they gain from attending college
  • College Navigator from the National Center for Education Statistics
  • College Data
  • Big Future by The College Board
  • College View
  • College Net
  • Education USA: the place for international students to learn about US colleges
  • College Week Live: offers free online chats with college representatives
  • College Results: A quick reference tool of the graduation rates of colleges you are considering
  • College Insight: from the Institute for College Access and Success, offers clear info about affordability, diversity and student success
